Dodge 2500 w 6" lift

My wife is wanting to buy a 5er camper. My bed rails are 60" from the ground. The truck also has a gooseneck ball installed. Is it going to be possible to hook up and tow with any mod's?

Glad you're aboard. Best of luck in finding an answer to your question. Might be just a little high to get the 5er to ride level towing. JMHO. Enjoy your adventures and be safe.

Might check in on some toyhauler websites or RV.net website with a large TH forum or our TH forum as some tow with lifted trucks.

A 60" bed height means making a sub frame lift for the trailer which makes for a taller trailer. Max height is 13' 6" on interstate roads but it can be much less on secondary state roads.

Some 6" lifts don't work well for carrying heavy loads especially suspension lifts. Do your home work on your lift manufacturer specs and referrals.

With a lift, IMHO, you would probably be better pulling a bumper pull, or travel trailer over the fifth wheel. You also have to consider that hitching and unhitching will require you to crawl in the bed. But I'm sure you can find a way to tow a fifth wheel if that is what you want.
