Oil is oil. My F-350 wound up 298,000 very hard miles on whatever bulk 15W-40 the fleet mechanic got the best price on, and another 68,000 miles on regular Tech200 (Wal-Mart) 15W-40. Oil is oil.

Some where I've read/heard that Wally Mart oil and Rotella are the same. Just different jugs?????? Anybody got any thoughts comments or rude remarks??????????

I almost agree with Johnny... as long as the ASE rating meet or exceed what is required by the MNF then yup... OIL is OIL... I'm over 2oo K on my rig... and have Run, Delo, Valvoline, Walmart, Rotella, Fram Filters, Penzoil Filters, Motorcraft... If its on sale... and MEETS or Exceeds the original Manufactures requirements then life should be peachy. if my engine were to fail from lubrication issues I can guarantee the 2 companies that I purchased my filter and oil from would be hearing from me.
