F-250 Problem

Thought this would be the right place for this post. My F-250 2012 has been great until a day or so ago. I was not pulling the 5er so that is good. I was driving normally and got the message "pull over safely now." The truck was dead by the time I pulled over. Long story short: one of the 4 exhaust sensors went bad and was reading too high a temp and shut the truck down! So, sensor repaired. All under warranty including the tow truck.

However, and the reason for this post: Tech said he received a service bulletin (not a recall) on this item so I suspect it may be too common so I though I would offer this to experience to others in the event it happens.

He also said that if I had let it set for 45 minutes it would probably have started and I could have time to get to a dealer. Grateful to the Lord I was not in heavy traffic with the 40th 5th wheel!

There is a number of sensor issues with 11s and 12s. 13s fixed a lot of them.
