F450 - 2015

We have a new 2015 F450 Lariat long bed super duty with a 20k b&w companion hitch...would this pull a DRV rssa with a dry weight of 16,200 and dry pin weight of 3720...also with 19.5 wheels would the side rail clearance be ok?

Actually the 19.5 " tires are shorter than the 18" and 20" tires Ford uses.
Looking at Fords spec pages show a 225/70-19.5" tire which is 32" tall. The 19.5" have a very short sidewall height.
The LT275/70-18" tire Ford uses is around 33" tall and their LT265/70-17 " tire is around 32" tall.

Now whats important is the trucks ride height. Maybe some one with a F450 and same size tires and year model as yours can give you a measurement.

Also not all 5th wheel trailers have the same pin height. The RV dealer should be able to give you a measurement or do it yourself if the RV is nearby.

Ther F450 won't have any issues pulling that size trailer.

Should be no problem. I tow our MS 36SB3that weighs 20K and 5K pin with a measly 3500 RAM Dually CrewCab LongHorn.

NuJust DO NOT REDuCE the rear tire air pressure for sake of ride quality. I know an owner of a F450 that tows with 30lbs in the rear because its to rough with more. I told him he is crazy and I would not leave the yard unless full tire aire capacity. I turn the tires on the rims with 35 lbs in my tires. Changed to higher pressure tires right there and then.

Having an '09 pulling a DRV at 17400lbs, you should have no problems with a '15. The tires won't present a problem, either.
