Well, I got one trip out of my Firestone kit#2400. This is the one for 05-08 250-350s with in bed 5th wheel hitch. The lower mount came apart under load, and now I have to have a friend help me custom build a new lower mount. I still can't believe that Firestone would put out such a poorly designed kit. You can tell it's a universal kit for use with different axle styles, as the lower mount has spacers to use with different height bump stop brackets. This lower mount fits poorly at best, and doesn't hold together. A friend of mine has an 05, and his just came apart last week. His lasted longer, as he has a pull behind, so less weight. Has anyone else put these on and had similar issues? I'm going to call Firestone and ask them what's up with this kit and see where that get's me. I really don't think they'll offer me any help, but maybe if enough consumers call in complaints, they'll change the kit. I'll try and post some pictures later so you can see what I'm talking about.

I had a set of AirLift bags on an '02 250 and than onto a '04 350--lasted over 240k miles. But the 5th wheel hitch complicates things, I guess.
