Specs per salesman: 29' length and that we should not have a problem pulling it with our truck. Not to be insulting, but I am a little leery of sales people.

Was his mouth moving? There's your answer. He wants to sell you a TT. Once you're out the gate, it's your problem, not his.

My buddy has a 02 gmc extended cab short bed half ton he's a first time buyer I have him looking at 25 to 27 foot TT with dry weight of 5400 to 5800 pounds biggest thing he has towed was a 14ft enclosed so that trailers size and weight will be very comfortable for that truck plus the length difference hell have to get used to

Still sitting on the fence...
We looked at a used FSBO, 2013 Prime Time Tracer Touring Edition Ultra Lite, 25' 2" length, hitch weight 650, dry weight was 5000 lbs. It looked to be in great condition & maintained well (when not in use, housed in a inclosed building). I thought the price $18,000 was a little high for used (but I am new to this). It is at the top of our weight limit. Still have a few more on the list to view.
Thanks again to all!
