We are buying a house and may want to scale down to a small class C motorhome. We have a 2001 Ford F550 power stroke//7.3 /air conditioning/ dual wheel automatic with 86,000 miles. It's a crew cab, custom hauler (nothing fancy- built in side tool boxes, additional fuel tank, diamond plate, etc.) from Bodywerks in Indiana. It's in good condition and we pull a 36' Carriage with no problems. Any idea of value or a good web site to get an idea? Before we decide to take to a dealer? We may just decide to keep it, if resell is too low. Thanks

UNBELIEVEABLE....I just bought one. 2001 F550 PSD crew cab with a Tuscany Star Hauler bed. It has KELDERMAN AIR RIDE and a Trailer Saver air ride hitch in the bed. 158,281 miles. Dealer was asking $23,250 and he gave me $15,000 for my 97 250HD and 97 Chevy Tahoe. I would have been willing to pay more for less miles, like your truck. Truck has one rear axle seal leaking which I will get fixed.. Also the front and rear mains are leaking oil. Not sure if I will fix those or just keep a eye on the oil.
Brakes are 50% and it probably needs rotors. Hope this helps you in determining a price for yours. Maybe ask $29,995 ?????
Bob
