I have a 06,350 with the tow haul package.I think I have a braking problem but before I go too far.Apost on another website says the conputer for the package does not send a charge to the brakes until to you are over 15mph.Anybody familiar with this.

I have a 04 f-250, I notice if I tap the brake pedal for a second it will down shift one time and if I tap again it will down shift again , but if the RPM get to about 3300 it will not down any farther , it's not sending brakes a signal just downshifting only in tow/haul mode... Works great for me I pulled a 6% grade and down the other side at 7% never got over 55 down hill, never applied brakes... I was happy with that.

Have read that there is a time-delay built in to the IBC for low-speed braking, to prevent neck-jerking/wheel lockup. The controller for my '09, and an '04 and '07 before, all work at low speeds, but not immediately.
Try using the manual lever and hold it on--you should get brake action if everything is working. If not, you should be getting a message on the dash center saying "fault in trailer wiring" or "trailer not connected"

Also, the TowHaul option has nothing to do with the Integrated Brake Controller--they are independent of each other. The TH just adjusts the shift patterns and downshifts when it senses brake application without throttle and should downshift when it senses enough speed increase without throttle.
