Interesting. If it works as well as the self parallel parking feature on my 2012 Focus did (it worked perfectly) it will be a great feature.

Self parking cars, Google self driving cars, lane departure warning, blind spot warning, now Ford's trailer parking assist.

But as kids we talked about flying cars...still no flying cars !!!

I don't know. It's cool and all, and Ford sure is pushing the technology boundaries, but all these nannies and "aides" in our trucks? I am a little nervous about the next gen of RV'ers that have no clue how to back a trailer up without a computer.

it does roll the bottom of the steering wheel to the direction you want the trailer to go,
if its a sweet as the parallel parking...i think the other guys will have to step up
it should be standard practice to know how to back a trailer...but i see folks it would help...mainly the guy that keeps running over his shrubs near his driveway

funny thing is my wife backed our boat into the water for over 2o years while i road it down the ramp, she also backed the empty trailer down so i could simply drive up and on the trailer...talk about easy in and out at the boat ramps.
she made lots of HE men look like amateurs.
our boat was not small by any stretch, and the empty trailer was hard as heck to see .
she saw this and said WOW, it sure would have been the bomb a few years back

Flying cars have been around since at least the 1950s

There used to be a TV show where the star (title character) Had one.

And there are some new ones that were recently announced.

Home is where I park it!
