Free RV, some assembly required...

Saw this parked in front of my friends Wrecker service this morning. Not all our trips go as planned. Just a reminder to be careful out there and keep safety in mind as you prep your rig for that getaway to make sure it's not your last.

There's gotta be a story behind this one, how did it get totally destroyed like that?

Dunno the story, I didn't have time to stop and ask Jerry about it. The frame shows a severe inward impact just behind the axles making me think they were either glanced by oncoming traffic at speed or broadsided at an intersection. Hard to tell till you put it back together...

Didn't see anything there that looked like it might have been the TV, so maybe they made it out unscathed. That was just one load carrying the frame, floor sidewalls and roof. The rest of the trailer was piled up on a roll back truck. Definitely looked like they were traveling as there was all kinds of groceries and personal effects mixed in with the wreckage.

We had a head on collision around here. A van hit a 1/2 ton GM towing a 5th wheel and it was picked up in pieces just like that. The frame was bare. The passengers I n the van did not survived truck passengers were hurt but survived.
So much for the lawyer's proof of towing overloaded.
