Here we go or maybe NOT!

Recently I was given what I think is a 27foot Maybe a30 the jury is still out
Anyway it's a Corsair travel trailer ball hitch type.
Having no idea because there is no build sheet or at least I can't find it,I did find a spec sheet on one that could be the same ?? no pic.
here's the info I found corsair model H 27' 4500 pounds tandem axel.

now for the TV 1991 GMC 2500 Vandura 3/4 ton high top conversion van,
engine 5.7 lt hp with factory 3 inch exhaust HD 4 speed AT HD brakes complete with tow package tag says 7000 pound.
my ? is will tow this box successfully or is it a problem.
Thanks folks
Ed

Hello bigeddie!

I think your Corsair TT was built by General Coach of Canada. They might have some old literature on your trailer, if you can find the ID numbers on the frame somewhere.
My best answer to your questions are to first take your van, fully loaded ready to go camping, to a public scale and determine exactly how much it weighs full of fuel, people, pets, hitch-head, etc. Then weight your trailer full of clothing, food, etc. you plan to take along. Only then can you know if your van can satisfactorily and safely tow your TT.
An excellent towing calculator is found here. You might consider visiting the Vintage TT board of irv2.com. A great group of folks who help each other older trailers.
