Is there a "typical" size for the ball on the hitch for travel trailers? My receiver currently has a 2" but I know larger horse trailers require a 2 5/16". What is typical for a 26' or 28' TT?

Most travel trailers will need a ball size of 2 5/16

Our 28' TT uses a 2-5/16" ball, along with a 1" ball for the sway control. It works well. I keep a 2" ball on another receiver for towing smaller utility trailers on occasion.
