How about this tow vehicle

I just spotted a mint 93 4wd dodge dually 4 door cummins. Brought this question to mind. How would this tow a 16k 5th wheel? Not saying I'm gonna do this but if I did, I'd upgrade the tranny, upgrade to all disc brakes, all gauges, and performance mods to about 350hp/700tq.

Money spent on up-grades to a 93, would probably get you into a 2003 Cummins with the HPCR fuel system, better trans, better rear end and already has 4 wheel disc brakes.

In 1993 ,a 4 DR, Dodge was a rare bird , standard cab and club cab were the normal units and had the 8 foot box.
Did the 4 DR have a 6 foot box? If memory serves there were only 2 different wheel bases offered in that year; in 3/4 and 1 tons.

It was an 8ft long bed. Honestly the 1st one I've ever seen. Just reminded me on the 89 D250 my dad brought home when I was younger so kind of a sentimental thing lol. I already have an 06 cummins. Just thought that would make a pretty cool rig if done correctly

I worked at Dodge dealership from 75>07 and can't remember seeing one either. It would be interesting to find out if it was factory or home built.

There were issues with the early bodies; pre 94; cracking, at the base of the A pillar, from the diesel vibrations , I saw a number of those in for repair.

It would be a cool local truck, but I would not want it for the big road

Well I did a Google search , and there are a bunch of photos , so I guess that the dealership I was at, never got one in.
As for a ' local ' truck , they would be a bear in town . Turning radius would be 7 acres. The Club Cabs were bad enough, 15 point star turns to get them into the shop .
