How much should I ask for this hitch

Ok, we just sold our 2011 Jayco 17z. The people want to buy our hitch with it, it has swaybars. I think we really got a big hitch for the 17z but hey, we got it at Farm and Fleet and thats what they told us. Its my understanding that this hitch will work for our new trailer Outback 292BH. However, I would sell it and get a new one. Problem is, I dont know what a fair price is. It was purchased last year and a photo of it is below. Any thoughts?

If you really want to help the purchaser of your former trailer out by selling him this hitch, a fair price (IMHO) for a 1-year old hitch in good condition would be at least 50% to 60% of the price of a new identical one that it appears you would have to buy to replace it.

JM2CW....did you notice that the hitch pictured is made in China? Is this a brand name hitch that Farm and Fleet sold you, just out of curiosity?

"Made in China"....often no quality control. Shoot we have projects in China and the specs specifically state no Chinese steel.

Sell it for 50% of what you paid and get a Reese hitch for the new trailer.
