Smart's are actually very safe. do you jump on Motorcyclist also? A dually is a pain for me. I work construction and those parking lots are cramped. I have actually had to call wife to come get me due to others parking too close.

Ok Glen let's do a head on with me in my Big Hip RAM and you in a "NOT SO" Smart car.

I am hot "jumping" on anyone. I just gave my opinion on tiny cars. I can tell you that "most" of the people driving around the PalmSprings area are very rude and arrogant when they are in their little cars because they "Think" they are saving the earth!

Bottom line drive what you want and I will also. My wife and my lives are more important than a few $$$.

Hey I drove a VW PU for 300K during my construction career, I was damn luck not to die in that thing!

Define "safe", is it against any other vehicle or just another one of the same size and weight???

Hey I am all for tiny cars the more the better. That way the odds of me hitting or being hit by something that will cause bodily harm is greatly reduced.

Wow. Another "come at me bro, I'll be in my big pickup and you can pick a little car" crotch grabbing show of testosterone.Get a set of Truck Nuts, it will make your big pickup truck even tougher.

How much more can we hijack this topic thread?

We could talk about which windshield strip would be most intimidating. A "FEAR THIS" banner, perhaps? That would be a great addition to the truck nuts.

And a grill insert that looks like monster teeth. Yeah, that'll just about do it.

For a finishing touch we could throw a "I would rather be **Ram engine manufacturer** than **"cleverly" revised Ford Engine Name** sticker on the back.

Back on topic, I loooooove my dually. But my trailer also weighs 23,000 pounds.

Good luck on your decision OP.

Ok...I will just say the Smart Car is kinda nerdy. Safe or not...it is the opposite of cool in my book.

No reason you can't put Truck Nuts on the Smart Car, either.

If I was worried about cool, I would have slit my wrists a long time ago.
