I guess not. It just went from $1.99 here to $2.19 in two weeks!
I guess they base the cost on the groundhog's prediction of winter. That is the only reson I can think of.

Maybe??!! The price just went down 4 cents at the station where I normally buy. $1.99 to $1.95. It has been at 1.99 for so long I can't remember when!

I'm down in Florida, it's been $2.00 $2.05 at most stations around here. Found it at Flying J last week for $1.97.

I agree, it's about time for it to drop down some. If it'd just get to the same as regular grade gas it'd be a big help.

I agree Tom. I have not been driving my truck much lately. I like driving it but the price of fuel was realy hurting the ole pocketbook. My sister got a new BMW wagon so I bought her 94 Escort wagon to drive to work. That thing is getting 31 to 34 mpg. and I am not wearing out my tow vehicle so fast. The truck gets 17 to 19 on the same trip. I think the fuel savings will offset the insurance, license, tax and other cost involved in having a third vehicle.

Filled up at the Flying J in Seffner Florida this morning, diesel was $1.929 which is 5 cents lower than a week ago. Maybe it is coming down?

We paid $2.059 on Tuesday . . . we were truly in the middle of nowhere at that time -- in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. We were happy to find that price, as the price at the truck stop when we left the highway was $2.159!

I'm REALLY tired of paying so much for fuel!!!

Talked to the lady in charge of Safeway fuel buying for the Oregon Area. She told me that they have asked the buyers and the refineries why diesel is so high, they told her basically cause "WE Can" pretty much they will go down they believe (safeway) in the spring but we are being gouged by the fuel sellers.
