Layton skyline 151

I'm looking at a 2007 Layton Skyline 151, single axle T trailer that's being auctioned of next weekend. Is there any concerns with this brand of trailer or with the year. What should I pay for something this small and in this year.
Thanks ofr your reply

Skyline is a reputable manufacturer of RV trailers. Their marketing is wierd in that they have four identical brands, all with the same model numbers. Layton, Nomad, Aljo, and Mountain View. They also had the Koala brand that is very similar to the quadruplicate brands. The Koala brand is no longer on their website, so I suspect they dropped it. Ignore the "Aljo" in the URL below. If you click on it, you'll be in the Layton part of the Skyline website.

I bought a new 2012 Skyline Nomad 196S Joey in February. We drug it on a 4,000 mile road trip over Memorial Day weekend, then on another 750-mile road trip in July. So far it's a wonderful little TT, and I would buy another Skyline if I needed another RV trailer.

What should I pay for something this small and in this year.
NADAGuides publishes used RV prices in their "Blue Book", which is not blue but is yellow with blue writing. However when looking for 2007 Skyline Layton 151, it's not on their website. None of the Skyline single-axle TTs are there, for some reason. So I'd probably use the smallest 2007 Layton that was listed, the Retro 171, then subtract some because it's not as small as that 151 and it has two axles.

Grumpy ole man with over 50 years towing experience. Now my heaviest trailer is a 7,000-pound enclosed cargo trailer, RV is a 5,600 pound Skyline Nomad Joey 196S, and my tow vehicle is a 2012 F-150 3.5L EcoBoost SuperCrew.

Lots of old '70 Skylines (Layton/Aljo/Nomad trailers still in use out here. Skyline one of the older mfg still producing units.

In 1984 we bought a new 26' Aljo 5th wheel trailer. We used it over 8 years and even double towed a 18' 3400 lb bass boat behind it. No issues

About Skyline (from there website)

At both the divisional and corporate levels, we continue to stress the importance of increasing our knowledge of the preferences of Skyline home customers and prospective customers.

Founded in 1951 in Elkhart, Indiana, Skyline initially produced the affordable housing units popularly known as house trailers or mobile homes. These units evolved into today's manufactured and modular housing. In 1960, we opened our first travel trailer plant. During its 50-plus years of operation, Skyline has built more than 870,000 homes and 460,000 recreational vehicles (RVs), most of them travel trailers. Its sales over the years total in excess of $15 billion.
