I have all but decided to make the move to a medium duty truck. I do have a couple of questions for the experts out there. I am considering an older (99) International 4700 Wiers TowMaster Conversion with between 60 and 100k miles on the odo (two different trucks). DT530E Allison 6 speed auto. I have heard that they are a little more comfortable in the drivers seat than the FL60. I have also heard that they turn a little better as in sharper/more maneuverable. I tow a 39' Teton Grand sundance that has a GVWR of 20k. If anyone out htere has experience with these trucks, please chime in and give me your opinions. This truck will most likely become my daily driver, as i probably will sell my Dodge 3500.

Thanks for the opportunity

Rick

The best source for information you seek is here. Scroll down to MDT board. These are guys with years of experience driving these trucks.

Ray, Escapees site on MDT was very iniformative. Looks like the MDT is all but bought. Going to Salem Ore. to give the truck a final look in person and to pay for it. Thanks for the lead to Escapees site.
