Mud Flaps or Splash Guards, which one?

Getting my new Ram 3500 SRW ready to tow a fifth wheel and thinking mud flaps are rubber and splash guards are molded plastic. Is this correct?
Looking for recommendations; RAM Mopar, WeatherTech, Gatorback or something else?

I just ordered the rubber mud flaps for the rear (dually) from Mopar. I am going with the molded plastic for the front from Weathertech. I have the rear in hand now, they are a nice heavy rubber with the Ram logo, have to drill a couple holes to attach. The Weathertech shipment arrives tomorrow. Got molded floor mats also.

HD rubber all around, bolted on by selling dealer at a nominal cost. They did a great job installing. Your trailer will thank you!

In the past I would fabricate brackets and flaps on our trucks. Just picked up a '16 Ford dually and based on others opinion, decided to order Dura flaps. Glad I did, they install without drilling as all the "fabrication" is done. They installed quick and easy, they look good, and are long enough to be effective. Glad I went that route.
