Need Dodge Cummins Diesel PU

A friend of mine just lost two vehicles in a garage fire. One was his fifth wheel puller. He's looking to replace the following with as close to it as possible:
2004 Dodge Crew Cab, 8' box, 4wd, 3500 1 ton, 6.1 liter cummins diesel.
Any assistance appreciated. Thanks.

Keep your eyes and ears open. Start checking out the lots as you drive by, pull in if you see something interesting. Keep an eye on craigslist and trader magazines. We found ours in the local Truck Trader. Convinced the other half to at least look at it and we found what we wanted at a good price.

Since the Cummins domes only in 5.9 or 6.7L variants I must assume he wants a 6.7? Check Ebay. There are at least 30 on there at any one time for sale.

2007.5 or earlier Dodge will have the 5.9 cummins which is a very good engine. The 6.7s are real horses but the mileage has suffered. My choice, even though I've got the 6.7, would be a 2004 to 2006.
