Hello everyone,

I need help findin info for the 2006, F250, Super Duty, Crew Cab, Short Box PSD 6.0L, Automatic I just bought.

1.
I'd like to find the owner's manual in PDF and not have to pay for it. I think Ford should supply this free of charge.

2.
Also I need to know the maximum hitch weight for a conventional tow trailer on this vehicle. I've pretty much found all other data regarding payload and towing.

3.
Does anyone know how I can find out the factory door combination code for this puppy?

Thanks,
Ralph

1. Check the local wrecking yards for one. If you bought it used from a dealer, get him to supply you with one.
2. The max tongue weight for a TT will probably be around 1000 pounds.
3. Door combination? Do you actually mean the GCWR(gross combined weight rating)? That should be spelled out in plane text on the drivers door post on the loading data plate.

Sorry I wasn't very clear.

1.
I'm looking for an electronic Adobe PDF document. Have them for other vehicles I've bought new. Can't find one for this used truck. Easier to read because I can easily magnify. I have the paper copy.

3.
This unit has a driver's side door, 5 digit, combination, key pad for unlocking the door without a key. Don't have a clue why I might need it, but its on the truck so I'd like to know how to use it. The paper owner's manual says (I think) that you can set your ouwn code if you know the factory code, which was not supplied to me.

Thanks,
Ralph

if you reprogram the keypad, keep in mind that it will go back to factory default if the computer is ever re-flashed. At least that is what I was told. I find the keypad very handy when I go out the get something from the truck and find the door locked AND my keys are in the house.
