HI to all, just got my first TT, Rampage 219 for all our toys. Really excited. Use an H2 as the TV. Works great so far. Did some upgrades to the engine for 400 hp. Hope it will do the climbs here in AZ. 7000lb TV so it is very stable. Got the 2cam and sway bars. We haven't had our first trip yet but hope to do it over Thanksgiving. Had the H2 for 2 years and wanted to keep it as the TV as it is a blast off road as well as the bikes and quads.
The Rampage is a Waylite. Anyway, I have been lurking here for a month and really enjoy the comments.

HI Don, thanks. Haven't had it out as yet, kind of nervous but I am sure I will feel at ease after a few hundred miles. 47 feet from stem to stern. Have towed a box trailer for years at 15 feet. I will keep you posted.

Acebusa, welcome to iRV2.com. Glad to have you here. Did you say you ar from Az? We lived out there for a year in Apache Junction and had a good time seeing new sights. Congratulations on the new rig and good luck with it. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Acebusa,
Do you have the 6 litre engine in that Hummer? Just curious to what upgrades you did? I have the 6 L sububan.
Thanks, Chris

Yes I do (6L), put full size headers, air box, cat back system and reprogramed the ECU with a Diablo tuner from Granitelli. Did the transmission program as well with the same unit. Both for tow and none tow mode. Allows you to change shift pressure, speed of shift and mph that it does shift. Also shows all the DTC's and allows you to erase them. Great tuning aid. Put on the IAS Edle brock shocks and the Hotchkis rear trailing arms with all the poly bushings throughtout for better on and off road handeling. Don't even feel the TT behind me. We will see how it does up to Sunset Point, that is the hardest pull we have here in AZ. If I can help let me know. BTW have 64k in miles on the H2 and with 100's of extreme off road outings it still rides like new. I am a maintenace nut !!!

Hi Ed, thanks and I will keep everyone posted. I must admit I am nervous about my first tow. Bringing it home form the dealer was a "have to do tow" now that all the tows are elective I am nervous. Ha. I will let you know how it goes.
