New (to me) towing machine.
Fearing that my 2001 F150 was getting too tired to tow I swapped her for a newer one, 2013 XLT with tow package & a mere 26,000 miles.
No trailer brake controller installed though, plan on installing an OEM unit myself.

Good choice on the controller, way better than the silly aftermarket stuff.

Nice truck. But seems to me if it had the tow package, it would have had the IBC already?

You'd think, huh? New OEM controllers on Amazon & Ebay ran $170-$200, got one from a local salvage yard for $70. Installation took about 15 minutes, Ford dealer charged $50 to activate it.

MAX tow has it. Just regular tow doesn't. I installed after market one.

Two thumbs up on your truck...wait, is that a speck of dust I see on the shinny hood??
The 2013 is an absolute huge improved over a 2001.
Looks like you have the 5.0 litre Coyote engine. I had a 2011 with the 5.0 litre engine. I really liked that truck...but traded it in on a F-450 when I bought a large 5th wheel trailer to snowbird with.
You will really like that truck. It is powerful and has the best 1/2 ton frame.
