Real shame MaxBrake is gone. Truly seamless braking.
I bet 'most people' have no idea, because they used the prodigy and are oblivious
to how good the max brake is / was.
Anyway congrats on the new truck should be a awesome puller.

Thanks! As I noted above the truck has been delayed. I was planning to break it in on the trip I just completed to SoCal from NW WA.

I did take notes of my slowest speeds coming down to SoCal on all the passes. That way I can compare the new truck to the old one with the same load. Should be interesting. 350hp 800tq 3:42 gears VS 385hp 865tq 4:10's.

I will report my findings. Also fuel mileage. I keep every fuel stop recorded.

Did you get a dually?

You should ask this question on TDR about the brake controller on the new trucks. I think Bugout and Joe Donnelly along with Dutch and Di have reported on the new trucks with the brake controller from Ram.

Dutch and Di are full timers you use to be a Brake Smart dealer on TDR.

Yes new truck is a Dually with rear air ride.

Been a member on the TDR since 2001. My MaxBrake works great as I expect the controller on the 15 will also.

The brake controller on my 14 works just fine. You're probably going to be on "heavy" setting. The truck seems to apply the brakes very smoothly, no big hit.

That is what I have been hearing. Sounds like the factory controllers are tied into the amount of brake pressure applied.

Only thing I can guess is they were waiting for some parts to complete my order.

It was built on 2/1 and departed facility 2/3. And since riding the rails!

I guess all good things come to those who wait. You don't happen to know where it's shipping from do you? Only reason I ask is because of the of the weather they have been having east and south. Might delay it longer?????

Last I heard was.....

On rail car Jefferson City, MO on 2/14. It's heading to Kent WA distribution yard just South of Seattle.

My Sons Limited 3500 SRW with rear air ride came in the 16th. He has not picked it up yet. Fine tuning his trade.

We are in PalmSprings area now but heading back next week. We are in the Skagit Valley area about 60 miles north of Seattle when in NW WA. We are full time but have a house in the area.

Yes, Chompin for sure! 12+ weeks is a long time to wait. Our MobileSuites on order will be about that long also.

Ok, cool. I use to go Goose hunting up at Skagit flats. I lived in Redmond ,Wa when I was stationed on the Polar Sea there in Seattle. Way back in 1983. Whoa! Gates didn't even have a clue back then about PC's Ha Ha. The only thing in Redmond back then was a Safeway Store and a indoor bicycle track. Now its crazy over there. All Microsoft. I didn't even recognize it when we went through there 4 months ago.
