we pull a trailer with a SXS, 2 motorcycles, 2 quads in it. We have electric brakes and a brake controller in the moho. Don't assume it is unsafe until you know how the rig is equipped.

I knew a guy that built a boat loader in his truck so he could haul it while he pulled his TT way back about 30+ years ago! Wished I had a picture to show it.
