I've been trying to find 5th wheel manufacturers that build their 5th wheels equipped with a hitch already installed, I'd like to tow my boat behind a 5th wheel. Sales people have told me that they can install hitches on the 5th wheels they sell, but when you contact the manufacturers they say the hitch will void the frame warranty on their products.
I live in Minnesota, so the length of the 5th wheel can't exceed 28ft, which is measured from the front of the hitch to the rear bumper.
The names of manufacturers would be helpful.
Thanks

I know that some people do pull their boats behind their 5th wheel, at least around here. Some states, it is illegal, thats for you to find out where it is and is not. BUT, welcome to iRV2.com. I'm sure that you will get all kinds of answers concerning this. I did put a shortcut to our new members area to make sure your post gets its maximum visibility. Welcome aboard to iRV2.

Welcome to iRV2, we're really glad to have you here as a new member and are looking forward to reading your posts about your RVing experiences and adventures. You'll find a great bunch of folks on this site who are very knowledgeable of RVing, the rigs we use, and the places we go in them.

As you'll see, they're eager to help and share their knowledge and experiences with others.

Nu-Wa Industries, who builds HitchHiker trailers, offers an optional 'boat' hitch on all of their trailers. I have one on mine but have never used it.

Again, welcome to iRV2, we're glad you joined.

Welcome! Peterson Industries, Excel 5th wheels, also provides an optional hitch. Towing laws vary greatly and should be verified for each state you will be visiting.
Happy trails!
John
