Raising a Reese hitch help

Recently got a new truck and the hitch seems to be lower and needs to be higher then my old Expy. I hooked it up and took it for a ride and all was good but the front end of the trailer was low. There doesn't seem to be any space to move the ball up on the mount. I really have no idea so any help would be great. I have the Reese dual cam with round bars and a F250 and pull a 27' keystone hideout. Thanks!

The shank and the head are two different parts of a WD hitch. Most WD hitches are installed with an adjustable shank. Unbolt the head from the shank, raise the head a notch or two on the shank, then bolt it back on. You may have to turn the shank over to get a rise instead of a drop.

Here is the Reese dual-cam round-bar head without ball or shank:

And here is a link to an adjustable shank (or stinger as Cumminsfan called it). Adjustable shanks are available with various rise and drop measurements, so buy the one you need. This one is has up to 2" drop or turn it over and it has up to 6.5" rise:

Reese Weight Dist Shank - 12-1/4" Long - 2" Drop to 6-1/2" Rise - 1,500 lbs TW
