I didn't want to go through the taking a chance ordering a hitch and making sure the 5er I was going to buy was new enough to have chiseled corners. I just bought the Pullrite Superglide 2900 18K hitch and never had to worry. With my 2010 Cardinal I bought, no worries whatsoever.

It cost a bit more, but I negotiated the dealer picking up half the cost of new hitch and install when I bought the new truck.
