Ram Laramie 6.7 Mega Cab SRW 6.4 Bed Curb Weight?
Can anyone help here? I've Googled up a storm and haven't found anyone who has weighed their truck. For 2014 the GVWR on this truck is 12.4k so I'm trying to find the real payload by subtracting the curb weight.

Here is a different site from Ram that I always used it is packed with a lot of useful information.

Click on the highlighted Red lettering, than click on 2014 Truck. This will lead you to the 2500/3500HD icon; under technical information you will need to click on the Base weights/GCW/payload/Trailer tow you will than need to choose either 2500/3500 model to find out all of the information you will need.
Payload is around 4,290 LBS or 4,130 LBs depending on automatic transmission ordered for the truck. The Aisin is slightly heavier so the payload is reduced. This too will be reduced by extra items carried in the cab and is based on a 150 driver and no passenger.

Thanks guys. I was assuming around 8300-8400 loaded with the 5th hitch in so i guess I was pretty close.

There will be a sticker with tire inflation values on the right door frame. Mine is yellow. This sticker has the maximum payload printed on it.

Yes, but that info is completely useless if you don't know the vehicles actual weight which is what I was looking for.

If you bought the vehicle new there should be a piece of paper in the glove box that tells the actual weight of the vehicle. Also the dealer can look up and tell you from where the vehicle was weighed when it left the factory for truck or rail transport.

The only true way of knowing the weight of your truck is to run the truck with all of the equipment and passengers you will be carrying across a scale. This should only cost around $10 on a Cat scale in a truck stop. If they are not busy you can weigh the trailer also on a reweight for additional couple of bucks. This way you will have everything you need for safe towing and traveling.

Exactly right Jim and this is what I was hoping someone with this configuration had already done. This is also what I would have done if I actually owned this configuration but since I'm shopping new trucks and toyhaulers and trying to match them, it's not something I can do myself ahead of time....

Curious to see what you find. I have the exact same truck (2007) if yours is 2WD as well.

Ah, I forgot to mention 4X4...
I got some replies on other forums. It looks like it should be 8500 wet and loaded to tow. So, about 3900 payload but rear axle weight is still the limiting factor. That's why I need actual weights. 3900 is enough for the pin weight but if the rear axle is a 7k and has an unloaded weight of 3500 then I only have 3500 available for pin. I figured someone must have this configuration of truck and weighed it but I guess not.

My 2007 scales ready to go at 8000 pounds. I have heard new ones are heavier. Figure 8500 with hitch loaded ready to travel and you should be OK.

Just look at the door sticker since it all varies from car to car with options, etc.
GVWR - PAYLOAD= weight.
The payload is specific to your truck already.
Otherwise you have to get it weighed with a full tank of fuel and all your hitch equipment.
