Ready For Retirement-New Tow Vehicle !!!!

Going to retire in 5 months and knew we needed a better TV than our 2010 Dodge 4.7. WE bought our new Grey Wolf 26RL for the same reason ( retirement ) Just the wife and i, so all we need.

2013 Dodge 1500, 5.7 Hemi, 3.55 gears ( rather 3.92 But ! ) Quad Cab, and 8900# towing capacity ( according to Dodge Web Site Vin# search ), 10.400 in the manual,but i sure don't believe that.

I know many will say it's not enough, at the Grey Wolf's dry weight at 5700#, but since our old TV, 2010 , 4.7 at 6000# tow wgt..did fine on the flats and hilly areas, witha 3000 # increase, no doughts we will be fine . Of course, a 2500 deisel would be nice $$$$$$ ,not on my SS check.

Great perk is the Hemi,6 speed, is getting better gas mileage ( Hwy 24 mpg ) than my 4.7.Will see if towing is any better than the 10-11 mph with the 4.7

Ready to hit the road with SS checks in the bank and no waiting to vac. time to be approved at work !!!!

Looks like a Great Rig !!! We are thinking of a new truck (Ram) for me,, and selling the class A for a TT... Love the rear living slide !!! Retirement for me is like a steak hanging in front of a dog... I can smell it, just can't taste it yet.... Working on it.....
