Shocks 07 Chevy 2500hd

I will be changing out my shocks soon. Any advice on which shocks to buy for a 07 silverado diesel pulling 25ft travel trailer? Not much weight compared to a 5th wheel. Bought this truck used and do not think shocks have been changed. Obly 84,000 miles on it.

You shouldn't need new shocks for an 2007 with only 84k miles on it unless the previous owner drove on lots of rutted roads. Mine don't usually start to wear out until around 150k miles. Are your shocks giving you problems?? Is the vehicle very bouncy? Does the suspension almost bottom out when you hit a pothole??

I wouldn't replace anything until it starts doing that, or if you are leaving on a cross country adventure and won't be home for months, or years.

Not much bounce so maybe shocks are ok and i need to do something else. The problem is s lot of hopping or bounce when accelerating moderatly on dirt. The rear wheels bounce and shake with no load. Do i need air shocks or stabilizers?

Are you talking about wheel hop when spinning the rear tires on dirt? If so, you are needing some sort of traction bar.
At 80k miles, you need a set of shocks, I changed mine at 79K and couldn't believe the difference in ride. I chose the Bilstien HD yellow and blue shocks, but you can choose whatever premium HD shock that you like.

Yes wheel hop.
Does those bilsteins stop the hop?

The Bilstiens might help some, but not a lot, more of the ride will be better with them. You need some sort of traction bar like CalTracs, they are expensive, but will eliminate your wheel hop, something else that might help is spring clamps that fit over the leaves on the rear springs, but can't guarantee that these will help your problem.
