Does anyone here know anything about them? The 5th wheel has a GVWR of 15k and the axles are rated at 7k each. I looks like the tires are rated well over the load but I don't know if they are any good.

All st tires have a load rating at 65mph. If driven faster, weight must be reduced.

So, I bought Carlisle Radial Trail HDs in ST205-75R14 LRD. On the sidewall the speed rating is M (81 mph). Are you saying that even though that rating is embossed on the sidewall the speed rating is 65 mph? Is that your opinion or is there a link to make us all understand that?

I don't tow faster than 65 anyway, but this is curious...

The Providers started showing up on commercial equipment and flatdeck trailers (PJ/Starlite) 4-5 years ago. Now some RV's are coming OEM with them.
There the new gen ST tires with the nylon cap on all tire sizes. They also have a M speed rating (81 mph).
I have a set of ST235/85-16 E on a small 12k tandem equipment trailer with 6k axles. These tires have around 20k-22k miles and no issues. I keep them at 80 psi 365 days a year.
I just made a 730 mile round trip run today at 75-78 mph delivering a 8k tractor.

My neighbor has six 16" load G Providers on a 38' LEQ horse trailer. Last month they made a horse show in Las Vegas with two of their horses. Now he/wife and 9 year old are off to a horse show some where in Kentucky.

Correct. If you carry the max load on the tire, you shouldn't go above 65mph. You can do anything you want. The speed rating embossed on st tires is extremely misleading. It is tested at 81mph, not rated to be operated at 81mph. ST designation = 65mph operating speed.

I put the Carlisle Radial Trail HD's on both my TT and bass boat trailer last fall. Boat trailer see's 100+ mile round trips to the lakes 2-3 days a week. Not a stitch of issues. TT has been out 3 times this year for 200+ mile round trips and no issue. I'll go through some tires on my boat trailer as I travel with it a lot. So far these have been holding up great. Both trailers got the 205/75-R14 LRD's.

Thanks, I was glad to see this post... It adds to my peace of mind that maybe I got good tires.

I've had the Carlisle Radial Trail RH tires for over a year on my travel trailer for a year and a half. So far, they've been great; much better than the junk I had on there previously.
