Royal Purple is as good as you can get. Mobil 1 is equal to it also. Mobil one can usually be purchased at Autozone for abou $5 a qt.
Keep in mind that you get an additional 100 degrees protection before burning the oil with a good synthetic oil. Well worth the extra money IMOHO.

Schaeffer #204SAT is one of my favorite ATS, especially for the price. Royal Purple, Amsoil, Redline, and Mobil 1 are all excellent.
