Time to replace OEM truck tires

It's time to replace the OEM 20" tires on my 2012 f350. It is SRW short bed with the FX4 package. I am looking for a tire that will last and be good on the open road. I tow at Heartland Landmark 5'er max weight 16,200# And since we live in Denver it must do well in our wonderful winter weather. So, what do you recommend.

You want to get something that meets/exceeds OEM tires, or half of your GAWR for each tire.
A highway tread won't do well in snow, I don't think, but no experience. An all terrain would probably be what you need. I use Hankook Dynapro ATM's, and I like them so far.

I've had good luck with the Toyo Open Country.

Got a great deal on a set of Big O Bigfoot A/T's for my F250--was going to go with Michelin LTX AT2's but found the Big O's over $250 cheaper for the set...I hear ya about the snow, these should do pretty good there!

I've had great service from BFG Rugged Trail T/A...67K on the 1st set, 91K on the 2nd set, now 45K on the 3rd set...still 2 years left. Hiway and off road.

go to Tirerack.com. They'll list every tire that fits your rig with test scores for quietness, ride, traction in snow, expected mileage etc. You don't have to buy from them, but at least you get to compare brands and lines within a brand side-by-side.

Goodyear, you can't go wrong. I have about forty vehicles. And I try to run Goodyear on all replacement rubber. I have two Ford SD trucks with Goodyear ATS tires and two new ones that came with Michelin LTX and so far so good. All oilfield semi trucks run nothing but Goodyear and they perform great. It's a crapshoot but about half of the new Fords I buy come with Goodyears. If not they get them at first tire change. And even the MH had Goodyears from the factory.
