Tow prowler 37

Hello I want to move an RV into the same property in different spot, this is the info I have about the RV

PROWLER 37 -1998
UVW 7,932
GVWR 10,500

I was thinking in renting a Home depot pick up truck, will that be enough?
thank you in advance for any advice.

Check with u haul, if their trucks are 1 ton and have a hitch I don't see what problem you will have. If u haul trucks are half ton as I suspect, you may bottom out, but just moving around on property shouldn't be a problem. I would talk to u haul about the trucks specs, I would want to pay for damage to their vehicles because I overloaded one.

Thank you for your reply but I do not know how to look for the weight of the truck, I found the Home depot truck have a GVWR 10,000 is this enough?
sorry I am ignorant about this things.

Is it a 3/4 or 1 ton, with that rating it should be, a half should weigh in about 7000lbs gvwr. Sounds more than adequate if you have the right hitch? Again you are just moving it around property right? You need to know all the trucks specs including tongue weight to really figure these things out but, just relocating on property it should work.

That prowler sounds like a 5th wheel. HomeDepot nor U-Haul trucks will have a 5th wheel hitch.

If this is a TT (travel trailer) and not moving it very far sure the HomeDepot truck will be enough.
