My question....How many of you 5th wheel owners haul a 49 or 50 cc scooter on the back of trailer in a receiver hitch.

I read the title of your post and immediately got a vision of someone towing a scooter down the highway at 65mph. I've seen a few 5er's with a scooter on the back. You must calculate how much weight transfer this removes from the pin/trailer ball. It can easily create handling issues.

We hauled a 50cc scooter many miles on the back of our 36' Carriage, no problems. We now haul a 150cc scooter(300#) on the back of our 39' Kountry Star, so far, no problems. I don't even know it is back there.
