I trying to find the towing capacity for a 94 Ford F250 /7.3 turbo diesel, but not a power stroke. Axle is 3.73. If anyone can help point me in the right direction it would be appreciated. I've searched all over the web and can find specifications for the truck, but no towing capacity.
Thanks in Advane

Are you towing a fifth wheel or a bumber hitch... Two if I'm not mistaken you can look on the inside of your door (drivers) inside you should have a sticer the sticker should have the GCWR and what the truck weights it's self if you subtract the GCWR from what tthe truck weights then you get your towing and load capacity... I had a 1995 F-250 diesel back in 99 I bought used and it was a standard 10,000 pounds towing hitch... One other thing you might try is look on the hitch it's self and see if you can tell what class hitch it is being class 1, 2, 3, 4, and then look up the class on the net... Best of luck

Your challenge with an F250 is going to be the vehicle's limited GVWR given the ~20% of the weight of the 5th wheel that's carried by the truck as pin weight. This is buried in the fine print of the brochures that list the manufacturer's trailer tow ratings.
