Hi, folks! Long time, no see!

We recently traded our old trusty '98 Dodge on an '06 2500 MegaCab (diesel, of course!) and I've gotten a great deal on a set of true Dodge brand towing mirrors - - the type that pull out, not the "flip up" type - that have built-in turn signals, side marker lights, defrost, and power adjustment. Problem now is... how difficult is it to INSTALL these bears ? Anybody know if the stock electrical harness includes wiring for the turn signals and side markers ? (Stock mirrors already had defrost and power adjustment.)

I haven't actually gotten them yet, so I'm not sure if installation instructions are included or not.

Next project is getting a hitch installed and getting ol' Bullwinkle back on the road!

I believe they are basic plug-n-play, and should be easy, but I'm not sure if there is wiring for the turn signals in the factory harness.

replacing mirrors generally consist of removing a piece of trim, 3 or 4 bolts and an electrical plug.

Simple installation depending on which model you have. You may be able to do it without removing the door panel, the other question is if you already have the power heated mirrors. If you don't then you are in for a big disapointment.
There are 3 screws/bolts holding the mirror in place and they are all behind the upper door panel. If there is enough play inthe upper panel then you don't have to remove it. Thats it and beside there should have been instructions in the box with the mirrors, if you got them new.
