Comments will range from "no way would I tow with a dolly" to its the "only way to tow". You know, kind of like chocolate and vanilla ice cream.

Like jimmyzw22 says, do a forum search and you can find all the reasons to use one and just as many reasons not to use one. Then if you decide to use a dolly, you will find many opinions on which one is the best.

Good luck and enjoy your search.

first time towing with dolly just mi thoughts.theres a right way wrong way and your way.have a master tow dolly elec brakes, little pain hooking up and unhooking but easy to move around by hand.watch the straps as are 07 malibu the struts cut the straps but reposition them.only thing i don't like toad takes a beating from all the road dirt and salt but than again this is my thoughts.

Dolly Dilemma

I'm surprised at the number of people who prefer dollies, frankly.

They cost half of what 4-down towing runs, allow choosing from a fleet of front wheel drive cars, eg taking a convertible along in the summer.

The gripe seems twofold: people with limited mobility have trouble strapping down the front tires; and, it takes the same amount of strength required to push your riding lawnmower in order to stow the rig at the campground (sliding the dolly tongue beneath the MH works fine).
