Trailer Tire Pressure Monitor

First time post and I did some searching and wasn't able to find a thread on this already.

Question I have. Is anyone using a TPS on their trailer and what brand do you use?

I use the Tire Minder system on my trailer and truck and it works great. Also their customer support is awesome.

I use TST 503 model and have the optional sensors that are installed in the wheel similar to factory systems. Battery life is supposed to be 7 yrs and I'm currently just over 3 yrs. With both psi and temp info it may be possible to detect dragging brake and dry bearing issues besides just tire issues with the internal sensors. In fact, I can tell both curb side trailer tires run 6 to 10 degrees hotter due to the truck's diesel exhaust.

Truck System Technologies (TST) are reasonable price for good performance. Click here for their website.

I used the TST510 on my 5th wheel, and transferred it over to my motorhome.

TST. If you call them they will walk you through the set-up on the phone, as you do it, good service.

Tire minder saved the day last week in Oklahoma City, caught a roofing nail in left rear tire on interstate 35. Of all the luck there was a Tires Plus on the exit it happened. There was a hr. wait but they fixed it no charge. One upside to towmax was free puncture repair, couldn't believe what I was hearing. I was impressed in that the tire minder monitored the tire until we got stopped at a spot we could pull over. It was losing 10psi per minute which gave us just enough time to make it to the tire shop without ruining the tire. Wife said I guess that was a pretty good investment. It just paid for itself. Last time we blew a tire it cost us a half a day and 500 dollars. Will never be without it when towing.

Trailer Tire Prssure Monitor

I have the newest model Tireminder and just used it from Texas up to East Tennessee. Worked flawlessly the whole way and it's great being able to see the current pressures and temperatures. I looked at TST and Tireminder and both seemed great from all the reviews. I couldn't decided on which to buy so I just just chose Tireminder because I liked the display better.

The Tireminder comes with the booster which I installed. I forgot to turn it on for several hours and it still worked great but otherwise I use the signal booster.
