I currently have a 2014 Ford F-150 XLT 5.0 Supercrew 4x4 with the 3.55 axle, and 7700lbs tow package, the stickers from the door jam of the truck and hitch receiver label are below:

I am trying to figure out if I am under the truck GCWR, truck payload rating, hitch receiver WDH rating, trailer GVWR. Sorry, I'm coming from another towing forum, I asked the same questions, and most of the replies were ignorant or saying that i was stupid and such. So here goes. From the images of the door jam stickers, my trucks GVWR is 7,350lbs, payload capacity is 1,552lbs, curb weight with those numbers is 5,798lbs, a 7,700lbs tow rating, hitch receiver WDH 1,050lbs tongue weight rating, max trailer weight rating of 10,500lbs, and a GCWR of 13,500lbs. The travel trailer, according to the dot sticker from the side of trailer GVWR 7,777lbs, dry weight of 4,971lbs, cargo carrying capacity of 2,768lbs, and an axle rating of 3,500lbs on both front and rear axles of the trailer. We are a family of 5, 2 adults, 3 kids (about 555lbs total), one car seat (20lbs), and 3 kids bikes (70lbs) in the truck. Now for the trailer, 2 20lbs full propane tanks, battery, and about 700lbs of stuff in the trailer. How would I go about figuring out the tongue weight of the trailer, axle rating of both axles (brochure says an axle rating of 4,544lbs) to make sure i am within the legal weight limits for towing this trailer, even though the truck tow the trailer no problem. I have had this trailer since Jan 2018, but didn't use it much, as i was diagnosed with lung cancer in May 2018 and cancer in remission Dec 2018. Now, really wanting to use the trailer this year, that is why I am asking these questions.

You have all the numbers....

Now you just need to go to a CAT Scale and get weighed for REAL World numbers

Need to load up...camp ready (you, All Passengers, Fuel, Stuff in cab, stuff in truck bed, stuff in trailer)
Get 3 weighings ($10/15 1st & 3rd weighings...2nd re-weigh usually free)
1st....truck/trailer WITH WDH hooked up
2nd...truck/trailer W?O WDH hooked up (stay drop the bars and get re-weighed)
3rd....drive to parking lot/drop trailer and go back get truck only weighed

With those 3 weigh tickets you will have all the real world actual weights
Truck GVW (compare to GVWR)
Truck Axle weights (Compare to FAWR/RAWR & Tire Load Ratings)
Truck/Trailer Combined weight (Compare to GCVWR)
WDH affect on weights (Front Axle & Rear Axle with 7 w/o WDH)
Plus you can figure what actual tongue weight is (Truck weight with & w/o trailer connected)

With real world numbers you will know IF and by how much you are overweight or within the ratings
(Look on sidewall of tires for MAX Load Rating)

Get weighed and Know!

I did forget to mention, the truck came with stock 275/65r18 114t tires, which I replaced with 275/65r18 116h tires. Now is the job of getting everyone to stop what they are doing, load the trailer, load the truck, hook the trailer up and go to the cat scales at the flying j on I70, which is about 20 min drive from where the trailer is stored at.

As for those published axle weights....4544# (2272 per axle)
Axles are most likely 3500# rated axles

Should be data tag on axle tubes
And they probably measure 2 38" Diameter

4544 is DRY weight on axles

DRY tongue weight is 752#
UVW Plus DRY Tongue------4544 + 752 = 5296# (DRY trailer weight)

752 DRY tongue is based on that 5296# dry trailer weight
That is a dry tongue of 14.2%

GVWR of 7752# at 14.2%-----Wet tongue of 1100#

So get weighed....full loaded camp ready

I only have the sewer hose, fresh water hose, other trailer required travel trailer accessories, 6 days of clothes for 5 people, all the kitchen stuff, coffee maker, bedding, 5 camp chairs and a couple of outdoor games, cooler of food, ice for the first night. I don't not put any water in the tanks. I always get full hookups when camping. So I don't even think all that stuff I mentioned equals 500lbs.

OK, you asked the same question over at the FR forum and received tons of solid advice which you rejected because it wasn't the answer you wanted to hear. Nobody called you ignorant or stupid. In fact, it looked the other way around and the admin stepped in and shut the entire thread down after your last post.

You're already getting the same answers and advice here. Nobody can make a solid assessment until you have actual weights from scales and not brochures.

If you would have ready some of those posts from other people in that forum, a couple of them were ignorant, condescending, towards me. I'm being nice, but if a couple of forum users are ignorant and condescending towards you, you would do the same thing. So please don't go there.

I don't know about RVs, but I have reweighed more than once per for weigh ticket. It sometimes takes more than one try to get all axles legal at once...

An aside....

I went on a blind date with a girl who told me that she " wanted to get weighed", so I took her to a CAT scale...

Turned out she had a speech impediment.

I found a 2012 Grey Wolf brochure online and the wts listed for this TT were GVWR 7752, Dry Wt 5296 and Dry Tongue Wt 752. Your LPG tanks will add 40lbs to that and the batteries another 40-50 so lets say a total tongue wt of 840 lb. The rest of your gear will be spread about the interior and probably fall mostly around the axles.

Now for your truck - the main issue here is payload - forget about the tow rating. You have 1552 lbs of which you have used 650 leaving around 900lbs for the trailer tongue wt - which is currently at 840lbs.

Personally, I would not run too far with numbers that tight - you probably have enough engine - but you are going to run out of payload. One big thing to remember is that when the truck mfg gives a tow rating - in includes ALL of the payload capacity of the truck. Some of them do allow 150lbs for the driver - if yours is rated such then that would be your only saving grace.

I guess since you already have the combo it would not hurt to take it to a scale and verify the numbers - but I bet it will be very very close to the edge.
