Valve stem extenders

Any of you dually owners use extenders? Just installed them and realized they require metal stems. Rubber stems dont work real well. I would.like to hear your experiences. My first time filling the tires was very frustrating.

I would not use the extenders on rubber valve stems. They will probably fail. You can get metal stems installed at any tire store. And yes, I have them for my inside tires.

X2

I tried extenders on my duels, leaked. Had longer valve stems installed, problem solved. Place where they were installed didn't even charge me, course I also had purchased the tires there.

I can get to my valve stem but not easy to get the air hose end to it. Some will fit some wont. Can I get a short stem to screw on and add when needed then just cap the rubber valve again?
