Waiting for new TV

This could be considered a rant and may have happened to others.

Our new TV has been sitting at the storage lot waiting to be shipped to the dealer for 5 days. It could have been delivered this past Monday. Come to find out, the union truck drivers may be able to pick and choose the vehicles they load and deliver. The more vehicles they haul, the more money they make. Needless to say, they leave the big, long, dually trucks sitting in the lot to wait for an "unlucky" trucker to take it in the shorts and deliver the trucks. The trucks take the space of two smaller vehicles on the trucks. I have no problem with anyone making as much as they can. If I drove truck, I would probably do the same thing. I am not mad as much as I am frustrated. The sales manager has made some calls as there are two other parties waiting on trucks as well. Hoping for early next week. I was able to monitor the location of the truck during its travels from the factory to where it sits. Kept the better half happy. Her patience is now wearing thin.

I feel for you, that is one of the reasons that unions are going down hill. Rules like that don't help the auto industry. I'm not bashing unions, but they need to be sensible in their rules.

It's not about helping the auto industry, the customer, or anyone else but themselves. JMHO.
