I had a similar setup when I picked mine up. I had air bags though. I did not think the WD hitch was required but with a 32 foot trailer I highly suggest the sway control. I could tell the difference with my 05 Ram 2500 CTD. Even with my 14 Ram 3500 CTD I use the sway control. The tongue on the 27bhs is heavy.

outdoors rv trailers are really well built but man are they heavy. You will absolutely need a WD hitch and I would get the 1400 pound bars.
