Question WD Hitches; Trunnion vs. Round Bar...

What's the advantage(s) of using a trunnion style wd hitch over a round bar set-up? Or vice-versa?

The ground clearance mentioned in the article makes a lot of sense. Personally, I like the way the trunnion system looks as opposed to the round bar set-up. Alas, the dealer is giving me a round bar set-up. Oh well, it's free. I'll see how it works out.
