What is the best way to mount a bicycle rack back bumper? Or other? I would like to hear what you guys think thanks

Weld some gussets where the bumper is attached to the frame. Then weld a 2" receiver to the underside of the bumper. Then mount a quality (Thule/Yakima) bike rack to the bumper. A high quality bike rack won't allow the bikes to bounce up and down. As long as the welds are good and the proper bracing is in place all should be good. Most that say you shouldn't put bikes on the back of a trailer don't have any experience in the welding fabrication process.

My bumper is welded solid to the frame so I made some brackets to support a slide in rack that I mount my bikes on. Been using it for two seasons and close to if not over 10,000 miles. Zero issues. Most of the time you hear complaints about bikes being mounted on the rear of TT/5'ers because the bumpers are poorly welded to the frame and cheap bike racks are being used. A double whammy.

I mounted mine on the back of my toad so we would have them handy when we are out exploring.

I mounted a Swagman RV rack to my back bumper, but I won't carry the bikes and spare tire at the same time. Once camped, I transfer the rack to the truck. Often, I travel with the bikes in the truck with the empty bike rack and spare on the bumper.

A friend put bike racks on the tow vehicle roof. He also saw a pickup with racks mounted above the bed (bed had a tonneau cover)

My daughter is a nationally ranked bicycle racer, and we've had all kinds of bicycle racks. She travels extensively with her bicycles in the back seat most of the time.

If we were carrying bicycles when traveling in our RV, we'd just throw them inside the RV. Problem solved.

I welded a 2 inch receiver about 6 inches above the existing receiver that has a 3 inch drop for my toad. That top receiver will accept a Yakima bike rack that will hold up to four bikes and it clears the hood of the toad by a long ways. I used a 2 inch square steel tube to raise that second receiver. This is certified weld territory, so no hobby welding here. Total cost was $10 for the receiver and a few cents for the welding wire.

We have a bicycle rack on the pin box of the 5er. Made by Top Pop http://jggrafx.com/thomsstuff/bikerack/ http://www.arvika.ca/index.php/fr/

They also have one for TT and a mount to fit in the hitch reciever.

How many bikes? You could use some of theseFork Block and Wheel Mount for bike racks, trunk racks, bicycle carriers - Hollywood Racks and mount them on your booth seating. Just take the cushions off, flip the seat support over, attach the fork mounts, then set the bikes on.
Of course you wouldn't be able to stop and have a quick bite to eat while traveling. Just throwing out an alternative.

A few years back I purchased a Tulle spare tire type bike rack to mount on the spare on the travel trailer. Big mistake !!!! While traveling home from camping, I was flagged down by a passing motorist. After pulling over and getting out I almost got sick to my stomach. There were two "brand new" bikes completely destroyed. The steel on the spare tire carrier had torn like a piece of cardboard and the bikes eventually started dragging on the road surface.
I manufactured another spare carrier and found through this site that the square tube bumpers are not made to carry a bike rack either.
I ended up purchasing a length of 3 inch I beam, a piece of 2 inch square stock (for the receiver) and welding it to the I-beam. Then I bolted this "Hitch" to the camper frame (also an I-beam). I now have a heavy duty hitch that I use with my new bike rack.
