My Equalizer tows well and really cuts down on sway. However it is very loud with lots of squeaks and groans.

Use the equalizer grease. Eliminates almost all the noise.

I got an Eaz hitch with my used trailer.

My little truck struggled with the trailer, it was just not a good match.

I got a truck with 9400 tow capacity, and now I tow the TT at 70 mph. The sway tensioner works very well.

My point is, if you have enough truck, the hitch is not so important.

Used hitches are frequently posted on craigslist......you can pick one up, and resell it if it doesn't suit you
