Who else has a 2017 - 2019 F-250 6.2 gas truck

I have a 2017 F-250 Lariat trim and really like the truck. I have had it about 3 months. The truck seems peppy enough and has a rock solid feel. It is a great highway driver too. The stop and got traffic the gas milage is bad but on the highway it is better than expected.

Just wondering who else has one and how well do you like it?

My father has the 6.2 in his 17. He does lite towing with a utility trailer. But he says it is the best truck he has ever owned. I drove it once and it did seem to have plenty of pep in it.

I would also say this is the best truck I have owned as far as driving and how solid it feels. Way too early to say anything about reliability but I think the 6.2 Boss engine is reliable.

I am not sure how much better a truck can be made. It is like they turned every nut and bolt 1/2 turn tighter than my 2012.
And now the body of the truck will not rust.

6.7L here.

Starting to get a bit loose in the front end @15k miles - need to take it to the dealer. Likely the steering stabilizer. Already has a door rattle. The interior windshield rubber/gasket never looked like it was installed right and comes loose time to time...I just stuff it back up there.
Typical Ford *shrug*.
It pulls like hell and a huge improvement over my 2005.

I just bought another Nissan, but not for towing duty....

I missed it by a year but my '16 is awesome! Pulls great, gets decent mileage, about 8.5 towing a tall 7500 pounds. It ate a valve at 15,000 miles on the dot, broken valve spring retainer. Pretty rare failure. Dealer was great about giving me a truck to drive while they put a new long block in. Got another 10,000 on it now and no other issues. Great truck. Don't know how I lived without power towing mirrors.

Wow, that is not good news at all. The last two post imply I bought a junky truck...ugh. I do not have many miles on mine but now wondering when the thing will fall apart.

Engine trouble at 15,000 miles. That is really bad.

Having loose trim and door rattles is not good either.

The sample size is small. There are thousand and thousands of these things on the road. I'm sure you'll be fine. Remember, I'm a jaded former 6.0 owner lol.

You seem pretty enthusiastic about your new truck - check out https://www.ford-trucks.com. Lots of info and owners there.

Your 6.7 is way way better than the famed 6.0. Maybe the most famous engine ever built. Famous for all the wrong reasons though.

I love ours. Mine is 2x4 with camper pkg. I added matching ARE shell. Though towing mileage isn't that great I can buy a lot of gas for the price of a diesel. Pull a 30 ft with plenty of power for hills

Mine is also a 2 x 4. I have not towed with it yet but am sure it will be a great tow vehicle. I like how quiet and solid it feels.

Yes, it is solid, with camper pkg it jars you when you run over a worm. My wife holds her arms under her chest to keep from beating herself to death

You must be running 65 psi in your tires. When not towing or carrying a heavy load maybe lower the tire psi to 35. That will smooth out your ride. But filling back to 65 is not always convenient.

I must be driving on better roads because I think the ride is easily tolerable. My wife likes riding and driving it.

I live in Oklahoma and our roads are barely paved cattle trails. My main highway in 69 and 10,000,000 trucks a day don't help.
