Bell washer replacement

I have an expandable that needs new bell washers, I looked high and low, and found a Starcraft dealer that offered zinc ones as an alternative to the plastic ones that eventually just crack and break off. Does anyone have any thoughts as to whether I should use these? I am afraid of the corrosion.

Smile bell washers

Bell washers are attached to the expandable bunk ends. They are kind of bell shaped and they are used to attach the bungee- like cords to keep them in place. I think that's the best description I can give.
