Bunk End Upgrade?

I'm new to the forum and just got a hybrid Friday and was looking around to see if anyone has changed out the old style fold out ends with support bars for the new style with cables or if this is even possible.

Where the cables attach to the wall would have to be reinforced. My bunk ends support 1200 lbs.
